High-risk assignments for journalists mean working in conditions where the likelihood of physical harm (death, injury or serious illness) is significantly higher than normal. The safety of journalists largely depends on the precautions they take while on the job.

Ongoing attacks on energy infrastructure or emergency power outages interrupt the learning process in junior high, high school and all other educational institutions.
Children and students miss online classes or can’t do homework because there is no electricity, no internet connection, or because they need to take cover during an air raid. We will talk about difficulties and ways to solve problems with members of our center and invited experts.
On November 9, Ukrainian students, professors and guests celebrated the Day of the Ukrainian Language organized by Tetyana Symonenko and Nataliia Andrusiak and the coordinator of the exchange program for Ukrainian students at WU, Volodymiyr Galeta. The famous Ukrainian actor, blogger and popularizer of the Ukrainian language, Andriy Shymanovsky, taught the students how to pronounce certain words in an interactive way and everyone had a lot of fun. The First Secretary of the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Austria Ulyana Zadvorniak attended the event as well as Ukrainian singers and actresses who performed typical Ukrainian pieces of art.
We have an offer for representatives of the Ukrainian scientific community in Austria. The other day we spoke with the director of the Österreichische Forschungsgemeinschaft. Supported by the federal and state governments, the Austrian Research Foundation, founded in 1977, aims to promote interdisciplinary dialogue on important scientific and social topics and to stimulate relevant research. There are two areas of support for Ukrainians (affiliated in Austria). – financial support for the printing of scientific publications from all fields of science, containing new research results; – “Internationale Kommunikation” – providing funds to young scientists for scientific trips abroad and for inviting scientists to Austria. On Friday, November 18, 2022, as part of the visit of the leadership of the Cybersecurity Scientific Association of Ukraine to the city of Vienna, the Republic of Austria, a meeting and the corresponding signing of the cooperation agreement were held. During the meeting, a number of issues related to the future cooperation of the organizations were discussed. It was clearly agreed that the Association will also be involved in the implementation of our ambitious plans to support Ukrainian scientists abroad. For this purpose, we are implementing a number of projects that will have a significant impact on our diaspora of scientists abroad.
The main goal of the Cybersecurity Scientific Association of Ukraine is to increase the general level of cyber security of Ukrainian society through the implementation of scientific, scientific and technical and educational activities in the field of cyber security and related fields, aimed at the development of the specified field and the satisfaction of the professional interests of its members.
Therefore, we are very happy to cooperate, make new acquaintances, and have productive cooperation in the future!
