At the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Austria, a meeting was held between Ukraine’s Minister of National Unity, Oleksiy Chernyshov, and the active Ukrainian community in Austria. Key challenges and strategies for overcoming them were discussed. Professor Tetiana Symonenko, Director of the Ukrainian Research Center in Austria, participated in the event on behalf of the Center. The Center’s team supports the joint initiative of the Ministry and the community to introduce the Ukrainian language in Vienna schools.

Exchange of Experience with an ERC Grant Winner of €2.5 Million

On January 9th, researchers from the Center of Ukrainian Scientists in Austria had the unique opportunity to meet with a professor from the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA), who secured a remarkable €2.5 million ERC grant.

This meeting served as a source of motivation and valuable insights for all participants.
The professor shared his journey to this success, providing a detailed account of the key stages in submitting a grant proposal: from shaping the idea to structuring the documents and communicating with the grant providers.
