International conference: Theoretical and Practical Aspects of Distance Learning
15.10.25. – 17.10.25. an extraordinary event took place in the global scientific world: the International Conference, which is one of the most influential .
This is the 17 Annual International Scientific Conference. The conference brought together: Piet Kommers, Snjezana Babic, Eugenia Smyrnova-Trybulska, Volodymyr Proshkin, Natalia Morze and Olga Barna, Filipe Carrera and others.
This event testifies not only to the large-scale presence of Ukrainian scientists in the global dimension, but also to their deep theoretical and practical training.
The topic of our research: The use of AI-Based chatbots in the professional activities of secondary school teachers in Ukraine: results of an empirical study”. Participation in the conference is implemented within the framework of the international project Austria-Ukraine.

Presentation of the monograph: Austria-Ukraine project
At the extended meeting of the Council of the Center for Ukrainian Researchers in Austria, a presentation of a monograph by professors Svitlana Skvortsova and Tetyana Symonenko was held, dedicated to understanding the role of artificial intelligence in education, science, and the development of human thinking.
The event was held in a mixed format and began with a video presentation created using the Synthesia platform, which in itself became an example of the practical use of AI technologies. Then the authors personally presented the content and concept of the monograph, outlining the main ideas regarding the transformation of the educational space under the influence of intelligent systems.
After the speeches, a lively discussion and exchange of experience in interacting with AI between Ukrainian and Austrian scientists took place. The event showed that artificial intelligence not only changes learning tools, but also forms a new culture of cognition, in the center of which remains a person.

MSCA Ukraine
It is a great honor for us to be individually invited to the MSCA Ukraine seminar, organized by the European University Association (EUA).
We appreciate this opportunity, as it opens up space for new scientific contacts, partnerships and joint initiatives between Ukrainian and European researchers.
Participation in this event is not only a sign of trust and recognition of our work, but also an important step towards strengthening the presence of Ukrainian science in the European research environment.
We expect a fruitful exchange of experience and new forms of cooperation.

Presentation of the monograph: project: Austria-Ukraine
Dear colleagues and friends,
On October 13, the Vienna University of Economics (WU Universität Wien) will host a presentation of the monograph and interim results of the international scientific project “Austria – Ukraine”.
The event will be held offline.
For the first time in Ukraine and Austria, global-level experimental research combining innovative methods, artificial intelligence and modern educational approaches will be presented.
The authors of the monograph:
- Svitlana Skvortsova — Corresponding Member of the Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor of the K. Ushynsky South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University, author of mathematics textbooks;
- Tetyana Symonenko — Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, Affiliated Professor of the WU Universität Wien, Professor of the Cherkasy National University, Director of the Center for Ukrainian Researchers in Austria.

SCOPUS!👩🏻🎓
Together with colleagues (Professor Svitlana Skvortsova, Professor Kira Gnezdilova)
we published the article “Optimizing Routine Educational Tasks through Prompt Engineering: A Comparative Study of AI Chatbots” (based on the results of the International Conference in Germany), which is already indexed in Scopus.
Our study shows the effectiveness of various AI chatbots in routine educational tasks and offers practical approaches to improve the educational process.
We congratulate the scientists and colleagues who joined this work!
Ukrainian science today demonstrates high competitiveness and opens new horizons for international cooperation. 🌍📚

Results of scientific research on an international project🇦🇹🇺🇦
In 2024, the Center for Ukrainian Researchers in Austria signed a cooperation agreement with the South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushynsky.
As a result of this cooperation, we achieved an important scientific victory.
Ukraine and Austria approved a list of joint research projects for 2025–2026, including our project: “The Use of Artificial Intelligence Tools in the Professional Activities of a University Teacher.”
We sincerely congratulate the project team, scientists: Svitlana Skvortsova, Tetiana Symonenko, Yana Gayevets, Tatiana Britskan and all researchers

We sincerely thank all teachers of general secondary education institutions in Ukraine who participated in the survey on the topic “Use of artificial intelligence in the professional activities of a teacher of general secondary education”.
The survey is being conducted within the framework of the international project Ukraine – Austria, which is implemented by a joint team of scientists from the two countries in cooperation with the Ministries of Education, the Center for Ukrainian Researchers in Austria and the K. D. Ushinsky National Pedagogical University.
We have already received 1767 responses, which testifies to the high interest of educators and the importance of the topic for further research and the introduction of innovations into the educational process.
Your contribution is invaluable. Thank you for your activity, trust and openness to new technologies!
With respect, the team of the international project.
